What is a Dynamic Propeller Balance?

The best way to understand how a Dynamic Prop Balance works is to think of it like the wheels and tires on a car; they need to be balanced together to eliminate vibrations, harmonics and resonances that are felt while driving.  Where a static balance just balances the propellor only, a dynamic prop balance balances both the rotational mass of the engine's pistons, crank shaft, etc. and the propellor. This has a significant advantages in the longevity of the aircraft engines, airframe components as well as exhaust systems. High vibration in many cases can lead to the costly premature failure of parts which could have been remedied by a proper dynamic balance.
