Power Flow Systems Inc. is growing! We are now in our 27th year and we moved to a new, bigger location in Daytona Beach, Florida (574 LPGA BLVD. ) and doubled our product line in 2019. We are looking for qualified individuals that want to work as part of a team in a small company building high quality stainless steel performance aircraft exhaust systems that are well known throughout the aviation world.

Indoor, air-conditioned work environment for most positions.
M-F, 40 hours per week. After training we allow for flex time throughout the week. Subject to work and staffing needs, we allow employees to flex their schedules to allow for life events such as appointments, children's activities, etc. Life happens and we work with you!
90 day review and initial pay raise. Annual reviews / increases.
After 6 months: 2 weeks paid time off (PTO) earned annually, holiday pay, 401K with up to 4% matching PLUS annual profit sharing.

QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR

We are looking to add to our Quality Control department with an individual with a strong work ethic and attention to detail that is capable of multi-tasking and working in a team environment. Minimum qualifications: 2 years experience in manufacturing Quality Control. People with 6 or more years of experience are invited to apply with salary history and desired wage rate. Job duties include (but are not limited to):

Employee must ensure that all steps and processes called out or identified in QC manual and procedures/ work Instructions are adhered to.
Performs quality inspection of raw steel and manufactured goods.
Must be able to read and understand drawings, tolerances, and specifications for flat and tubular steel.
Must know how to use typical QC inspection tools such as: dial calipers, bend radius gages, measuring scale, and others.
Inbound receiving and inspection of components per manual procedures
Pick pulling and Inventory Control
Preparation of purchase orders, work orders, related QC paperwork and distribution to appropriate areas as applicable
Final assembly jigging, QC and packaging of outbound product per procedures
Preparation of shipping paperwork and processing of outbound shipments via UPS, FEDEX or other carriers
Ensuring that the work areas are kept neat and orderly.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without mechanical assistance
Must be able to work in a dynamic environment - have the ability to start on a task, pause it, start on one or more and then come back to the original task without disruption.
Familiarity with various computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.

Pluses: Forklift certification, Six Sigma qualification, experience in ISO 9000 or AS9100 environment.

Job Type: Full-time. Hours: Monday to Friday - 0600-2:30 PM to start for training, open to shifting to a later start time upon completion of training.

Starting Pay: $18.00-$22.00 DOE to start. Plan to be $1.00-$2.50 higher within 24 months depending upon demonstrated knowledge, accuracy and overall job performance. Higher wage rates will be considered for exceptional candidates with comprehensive experience.
