We are looking for qualified individuals that want to work in a small company doing high quality stainless work. Indoor, air-conditioned work environment for most positions, M-F, 40 hours per week. Quality Control Inspector / Shipping - We are looking to add to our Quality Control department with an individual with a strong work ethic and attention to detail that is capable of multi-tasking and working in a team environment. Job duties include (but are not limited to):
Employee must ensure that all steps and processes called out or identified in QC manual and procedures/ work Instructions are adhered to.
Performs quality inspection of raw steel and manufactured goods.
Must be able to read and understand drawings, tolerances, and specifications for flat and tubular steel.
Must know how to use typical QC inspection tools such as: dial calipers, bend radius gages, measuring scale, and others.
Inbound receiving and inspection of components per manual procedures
Preparation of purchase orders, work orders, related QC paperwork and distribution to appropriate areas as applicable
Final assembly jigging, QC and packaging of outbound product per procedures
Preparation of shipping paperwork and processing of outbound shipments via UPS, FEDEX or other carriers
Ensuring that the work areas are kept neat and orderly.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without mechanical assistance
Must be able to work in a dynamic environment - have the ability to start on a task, pause it, start on one or more and then come back to the original task without disruption.
Familiarity with various computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
Starting Pay: $16.00-19.50 DOE
Fabrication Assistant
We are looking for an individual who can assist production personnel (Welders, Quality Control) in the performance of their jobs.
Job Duties include (but not limited to):
Perform cutting, jigging, preparation and finishing work on the manufactured components as necessary and directed and in accordance with our blueprints. Familiarity with tools such as grinders, chop saw, plasma cutters, sander, etc.
Sanding, grinding, bead blasting of stainless and aluminum production parts in accordance with our procedures and standards.
Metal forming to make clamps, shrouds and similar parts. Installation of shrouds onto other subassemblies.
Must understand basic blueprint and measuring tools. Additional training can be provided.
Ongoing development and improvement of our manufacturing facility.
Ensuring that the shop and work areas are kept neat and orderly.
Other duties as required.
Maintain a high level of safety for self and coworkers.
A practical skills assessment is required to be satisfactorily completed prior to job offer.
Pluses: Knowledge or familiarity with TIG welding, Plasma Cutting, Operation of Press, Ram-forming machinery.
Starting Pay: $16.00 up to $18.00 DOE.
Engineer
Requirements:
B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
Strong CAD skills (2-D and 3-D)
Strong problem solving skills.
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of internal combustion engines.
Hands-on personality - must be the kind of person that tinkers with mechanical things, working knowledge of tools
Experience with the use of various types of test instrumentation (data acquisition equipment, thermocouples, pressure transducers, etc.).
Experience with MS Office.
Additional desired skills: Pilot's license, FAA A&P certificate, experience with Solidworks or Alibre, and/or fabrication skills a plus, experience with FAA Certification and / or PMA environment.
Job Duties (but not limited to):
Drawing revisions as required
Reverse Engineering from prototype parts to create production drawings
Assisting in developing FAA Certification packages for new projects
Preparation of FAA revision packages for current production
Flight Test Data acquisition and analysis
Ensuring that drawings used in production are the most current version
Creation of PDF files for our current drawings for easy accessibility
Assist Manufacturing and Quality Control in jig conformity checks, measuring, etc.
Working with and implementing scanning technology to model our parts
Other duties as required
Pay range: Salaried position - $55-65k DOE before bonus, profit sharing.
