Mandrel Bend / Rotary draw Tube Bending Production Specialist
Looking to add to our Production department with someone experienced in Mandrel bend / Rotary draw production. We have more work than we can handle and additional product lines to bring online. The right individual will have a strong work ethic and attention to detail and is capable of multi-tasking and working in a team environment. Job duties include (but are not limited to):
At least 5 years experience setting-up and operating a mandrel tube / rotary draw bender machine.
Cutting, deburring and bending tubes per drawings and specifications
Experience bending stainless steel tubes 1.5-2.5 inches in diameter
Experienced doing die change-outs and new bend setups
Secondary duties include use of Ram Form / End Form machine and Presses to form parts.
Requires a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Able to work independently.
Employee must ensure that all steps and processes called out or identified in QC manual and procedures/ work Instructions are adhered to.
Must be able to read and understand drawings, tolerances, and specifications for flat and tubular steel.
Must know how to use typical QC inspection tools such as: dial calipers, bend radius gages, measuring scale, and others.
Ensuring that the work areas are kept neat and orderly.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without mechanical assistance
Must be able to work in a dynamic environment - have the ability to start on a task, pause it, start on one or more and then come back to the original task without disruption.
Familiarity with various computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
Ideal: Experience with pines bender #2 or #3 bender
Ideal: Experience with creating custom bend dies for compound bends
Other tasks as necessary.

Aircraft Parts Technical Support and Sales - Immediate opening. Support of our growing product line to existing and prospective customers. Must be able to understand installation instructions, Illustrated Parts Catalogs, and be at ease talking with aircraft technicians and pilots with aviation lingo. Strong background in customer service desired.
Customer Technical Support and pre-sale support. This includes helping to identify what product configuration the customer has currently, what products they need to order and other parts they need to consider looking at or purchasing based upon the issues they are seeing.
Qualifying, setting-up and tracking of Return Manufacturer Authorizations (RMAs) per our procedures, invoices and follow-up both within the company and with the customer to ensure that all RMAs are handled in a timely fashion.
Coordinate customer pick-up at our factory in Daytona Beach.
Coordinate local installation and service work at our airport hangar with our A & Ps.
Sales order entry of parts and full product sales.
Act as a backup to dedicated sales staff.
Preparation and distribution of customer updates, dealer updates, etc via email or other media.
Monitoring message boards on various media platforms and posting where appropriate.
Maintaining and updating email contact program, websites.
Travel to and work at air shows such as Sun-n-Fun, EAA AirVenture, plus several smaller shows per our marketing plan. This includes all things related to the airshow such as transporting our exhibit, set-up, staffing and teardown. Current level of travel is approximately four weeks per year. (expenses paid)
Other tasks as necessary.
Desired Qualifications:
Private Pilot and/or Airframe & Powerplant rating desired.
Minimum 3 years customer service experience.
Reasonable mechanical aptitude.
Must be computer literate and must have working knowledge of basic Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel as well as use of databases.
Strong verbal and written skills.
Ability to communicate at all levels with existing and prospective customers

Salary: $16.00 - $19.00 to start per hour DOE. Will increase $1.50-3.00 per hour within 12 months depending on demonstrated product knowledge / training progress.

Quality Control Inspector / Shipping - Immediate opening. We are looking to add to our Quality Control department with an individual with a strong work ethic and attention to detail that is capable of multi-tasking and working in a team environment. Job duties include (but are not limited to):
Employee must ensure that all steps and processes called out or identified in QC manual and procedures/ work Instructions are adhered to.
Performs quality inspection of raw steel and manufactured goods.
Must be able to read and understand drawings, tolerances, and specifications for flat and tubular steel.
Must know how to use typical QC inspection tools such as: dial calipers, bend radius gages, measuring scale, and others.
Inbound receiving and inspection of components per manual procedures
Preparation of purchase orders, work orders, related QC paperwork and distribution to appropriate areas as applicable
Final assembly jigging, QC and packaging of outbound product per procedures
Preparation of shipping paperwork and processing of outbound shipments via UPS, FEDEX or other carriers
Ensuring that the work areas are kept neat and orderly.

Stainless Welder / Fabricator - Immediate opening. Full time available. Weekdays, start time flexible between 7:00-9:00 and end time between 3:30 and 5:30, based upon starting time after 90 days. No travel.
Requirements:
Fabrication and TIG welding of thin gage 300 series stainless steel tubing and sheet, aluminum tube and sheet. Typical thickness is 0.020 through .049.
Must be able to prepare parts for welding and assembly by cutting and/or grinding as necessary.
Must be able to read simple blueprints and understand how to use measuring tools to ensure parts made meet the specifications and dimensions.
Must follow existing QC manual and procedures - be detail oriented.
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds without assistance.
Must be able to work with little or no supervision.
Must pass a fabrication and welding test.
Minimum 2 years direct TIG welding and fabrication experience
Additional: Experience as a machinist, mandrel bend tube bending or end forming machinery is a helpful plus.
Starting pay: $17.00-20.00 per hour DOE

Engineer
Requirements:
B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
Strong CAD skills (2-D and 3-D)
Strong problem solving skills.
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of internal combustion engines.
Hands-on personality - must be the kind of person that tinkers with mechanical things, working knowledge of tools
Experience with the use of various types of test instrumentation (data acquisition equipment, thermocouples, pressure transducers, etc.).
Experience with MS Office.
Additional desired skills: Pilot's license, FAA A&P certificate, experience with Solidworks or Alibre, and/or fabrication skills a plus, experience with FAA Certification and / or PMA environment.
Job Duties (but not limited to):
Drawing revisions as required
Reverse Engineering from prototype parts to create production drawings
Assisting in developing FAA Certification packages for new projects
Preparation of FAA revision packages for current production
Flight Test Data acquisition and analysis
Ensuring that drawings used in production are the most current version
Creation of PDF files for our current drawings for easy accessibility
Assist Manufacturing and Quality Control in jig conformity checks, measuring, etc.
Working with and implementing scanning technology to model our parts
Other duties as required
Pay range: Salaried position - $55-65k DOE before bonus, profit sharing.

Fabrication Assistant - We are looking for an individual who can assist production personnel (Welders, Quality Control) in the performance of their jobs.
Job Duties include (but not limited to):
Perform cutting, jigging, preparation and finishing work on the manufactured components as necessary and directed and in accordance with our blueprints. Familiarity with tools such as grinders, chop saw, plasma cutters, sander, etc.
Sanding, grinding, bead blasting of stainless and aluminum production parts in accordance with our procedures and standards.
Must understand basic blueprint and measuring tools. Additional training can be provided.
Ongoing development and improvement of our manufacturing facility.
Ensuring that the shop and work areas are kept neat and orderly.
Other duties as required.
Maintain a high level of safety for self and coworkers.
A practical skills assessment is required to be satisfactorily completed prior to job offer.
Pluses: Knowledge or familiarity with TIG welding, Mandrel Tube Bending, Ram-forming machinery.
starting Pay: $15.00 up to $17.00 DOE.
