Default Cleaning the expansion chamber box

During my last 100 hour I noted that my expansion chamber ( collector box) on my classic system had all sorts of burned oil on it.

It is a long story about just how the oil was everywhere it was not supposed to be....

Anyway, I used EASY OFF oven cleaner. I just applied it and waited a few hours. Then I wiped it off with paper towels and then used wet rags to remove any residue. It now looks bright and shiny .
