“After 40 hours of various tests, we have:
100 RPM static increase 300 FPM increase in climb rate 5 KIAS increase in max airspeed 1 1/2 Gal/hr less consumption @ 60% power” F. R. Greece C172P O320 June 2007 Last edited by snorton [PFS]; 10-26-2007 at 01:11 PM. |

"Definitely more power! I climbed so steep that the ashes from my pipe fell into my eyes."

"I live in So. Lake Tahoe - elev 6200'. I do only MT. Flying & needed the extra power. Before the PFS my Cessna would only climb to 11,000' to 12,000'. Now after my first flight, I saw 400' per minute climb & 13,000'! And 10 mph airspeed increase! Thanks Power Flow!!"

"I am pleased with the product and performance."
"I was surprised by the increased climb performance. It was easy to tell the play was performing beyond any level I had experienced before." AC Crabb California Oct 2007 |

"The 1st time I heard the airplane was when my AP delivered it. He flew over my hangar, it sounded totally different, like a much larger engine. The take off performance is great. I have to back off the throttle during climb out. (about 100 RPM increase) Will run over redline. I think a prop repitch is in order. I believe I will see more top speed after repitch of prop."
"Well worth the difference in price!" M Meusse Texas C172 O320 August 06 |

"150+ rpm increase on T/O, 150-200+ rpm increase in climb. Most notible difference was eng response when power was added during flight. Ease of increasing rpm/ Eng responds instantly."
"Installation on C172 was very simple. 3-3.5 hrs with no unexpected problems. Looks great on aircraft." P Kelly Michigan C172 O320 Sept 2006 |

"Everything we expected, given past experience. No direct data available, but plane seems stronger. The short stack has a nice "macho" sound, a bit different than the classic."

"About 120 RPM increase in static run up, the old H2AD now silky smooth."
"Improved static by about 120 RPM. Climb rate @ sea level about 850 FPM (2 up), improvement of about 200 FPM. Aircraft has a coarse cruise prop fitted, TAS with the O-320 now about 118 kn, about 3 kn increase. Normally operating at 2450 RPM." MDR Aviation New Zealand C172 O320 February 2007 |

"It was a definite noticeable difference. I wasn't able to do an accurate performance change analysis, but from a general perspective, I think that I'm getting about 100 RPM increase in both static & takeoff performance. Also I believe that I'm getting 300-400 fpm better climb rate on take-off. (I also installed the "Challenger" induction air filter so that is adding to the power increase.)"
