Default Cylinder Head Temps

Has anybody had any problems with higher cylinder head temps? I can't seem to keep my #3 cylinder down below 400 degrees F on climb out even when I climb at 100 to 110 mph. The PFS is on a C172K with a LYC 0-360.

Default Re: Cylinder Head Temps

What type of probe are you using on the number 3 cylinder? Often aftermarket engine monitors use a gasket style or piggy back probe so you can continue to use the stock probe (often installed on the number 3 cylinder). My experience is that gasket and piggy back type probes read higher than bayonet style probes.
